Privacy Policy for Do I wear this?
Effective Date: August 23, 2026
Do I wear this? (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) helps users get AI-powered outfit feedback by allowing them to take or upload outfit photos and receive style suggestions.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App uses, how it is processed, and what choices you have.
1. Information We Collect or Process
Photos
The App lets you take a photo with your camera or upload a photo from your photo library. These photos are used to analyze your outfit and generate feedback.
Photos are sent to our backend service for processing and then to an AI service provider to generate your outfit result. We do not use your photos to identify you.
Outfit Context
You may choose an occasion, such as date night, work, party, wedding, or another context. This information is sent with your photo to generate more relevant outfit feedback.
Purchase Information
If you purchase or restore a Pro subscription, Apple processes the transaction through the App Store. We use Apple StoreKit to check whether you have an active Pro entitlement. We do not receive your full payment card information.
Camera and Photo Library Access
The App may request permission to access your camera or photo library. You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide AI outfit ratings and feedback
- Compare two outfits when using the comparison feature
- Display your results in the App
- Enable sharing if you choose to share a result
- Manage Pro subscription access
- Improve app reliability and user experience
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following external services:
Cloudflare Workers
We use Cloudflare Workers as a backend service to securely send outfit analysis requests between the App and the AI provider.
OpenAI API
We use OpenAI’s API to generate AI outfit feedback from the photo and context you provide.
Apple App Store / StoreKit
Apple processes subscriptions, purchases, restores, and subscription management.
4. Data Storage
The App does not intentionally store your outfit photos on our own permanent database.
Photos and outfit context are transmitted for processing when you request an outfit rating or comparison. Third-party providers may process and temporarily retain data according to their own policies and service terms.
OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs may be retained for a limited period to provide services and identify abuse, unless different retention settings apply.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information only as needed to:
- Provide outfit analysis through our backend and AI provider
- Process purchases through Apple
- Comply with legal obligations
- Protect the security and integrity of the App
If you choose to share a result card, sharing is handled by the iOS share sheet. You control where that shared image is sent.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Your Choices
You can:
- Deny camera or photo library access
- Remove camera or photo library access in iOS Settings
- Choose not to upload or take photos
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account
- Contact us to request privacy-related assistance
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect information transmitted through the App. However, no method of transmission or electronic processing is completely secure.
9. International Processing
